That will cure the infuriting message "Ancestry not responding" I won't use TreeShare until that probem is fixed and hopefully RM will close properly on shutdown. After closing Skype and selecting to remember your account and settings, you may still be prompted to enter your username and password when you launch Skype for. I have to use Windows Task Manager to kill RM Where do I tell RM not to check Ancestry. I have to use Windows Task manager to cancel RM Also when exiting RM and chosing "Create Back up", Rm does create the back-up but still appears to be open but hung-up. I cannot use the cancel button or x out of the orginal Sing In Pop-up. (It looks like a three-pronged leaf.) Then sign in to your account as prompted. Clicking on either choice "Let pending operations continue or Cancel pending operations" does nothhing. Uploading a RootsMagic Tree to Open an existing RootsMagic file from your desktop, then click the icon at bottom left. Top right says "Not signed In:" Clicking on "Create an account on Ancestry (I have an account and a TreeShare Tree on Ancestry) I get a popup "OPS! Your offer could not be found" Click on I forgot my password eventually leads to a popup screen with "Pending Operations" message.
When I click on the TreeSare for Anestry button, the Sign-In window pops up.
When I switch to the internet window and go back to the RM window I immediately get the popup warning message. As long as I stay in the RM window, RM acts normally. I have RM 7.6.5.0 open in one window and an internet browser open in another window. They help you to organize, track, and share family history.
